The pain of losing a beloved pet is very much the same as losing a family member. This page is a place to share memories and to celebrate all that our pets gave to us. The pain is great but pales in comparison to happiness they gave us. Each one is amazing in their own way and we were very lucky to have had them in our lives.
Create your own living memorial for your precious pet. Write from your heart and honor their memory with a loving tribute.
To submit a memorial, please email your text and photo to us.
You might find that sharing the memories of your pet will help start your healing process and it will help other people realize that they are not alone in their grief. Click the letter below to see pets whose name start with that letter.
The loss of a companion can be crippling. The pain can make it difficult to continue in our everyday lives. They touch us in so many ways, every day, for the entire time we have them. To know you will never feel their loving nudge or have them greeting you when you come home can be truly overwhelming. So many haunting memories flood our consciousness when you drive up to your house, walk out in the yard or even step into the kitchen and you realize they are no longer there. No one should have to go through this loss alone. The following links are to handouts and to websites that can help you cope with this loss. There are also hotlines available for you to call and speak with someone who understands what you are going through.

"Like all vets I hated doing this, painless though it was, but to me there has always been a comfort in the knowledge that the last thing these helpless animals knew was the sound of a friendly voice and the touch of a gentle hand."
